The Good Wife Part 2

Now sit up Men, I’m so sure if you read my last article, you would be all happy and a few irresponsible ones would want to sit back and wait for their woman to work and put food on their table with her sweat. Excuse me, Please don’t get it twisted men, the plan of God for mankind cannot be thwarted or twisted.


You are not called heads of homes just to sooth your very huge egos, it is because you are fashioned and made for that purpose. It might displease you to know that all the virtues expected of a wife as itemized in my previous write up simply fits into her God-made purpose of being a help-meet. Her duty is simply to help you not to carry all your burdens and take the place of God in your lives.
 
                                             

In order to fulfill her own bit in marriage it is important for her to keep the virtues listed to heart. The virtues of kindness, love, hard work, investment, savings, looking good, benevolence, wisdom, organization just to mention a few. So women, never see marriage as a lottery ticket or as a fast means to escape from poverty, know today that you should be prepared to give as much as you would get and be ready to stay put even when you don’t get. 

Your husband is not a ticket to your family having a better life. Wear your creativity hats and your shoes of hard work and make sure it is well buckled, if available wear a seat belt because the journey of marriage though sweet comes with a whole lot of responsibilities. Trust me; in just a few years of my blissful marriage, I have grown.

Above all, God is the ultimate in every marriage and understanding via communication is important.
